Pre and Post-Operative Registered Nurse - Surgery Department
Registered Nurse – Pre-op / Recovery / Circulating --- Full time – Mon – Fri No call 36-40 hours wk.
CCMH is looking for a full-time professional RN to join our OR team. This full-time position will include duties and responsibilities as a pre-op / recovery nurse and perform duties as circulator on an as needed basis.
This position does not have any call requirement for the OR.

Job responsibilities:
- Consult and coordinate with the health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate pre-op and post-op patient care plans.
- Serve as the communication liaison to patient family and members of the operating team.
- Provide bedside pre-op and post-op patient care.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medication and document such.
- Initiate patient education plan as prescribed by the physician.
- Functioning within the scope of RN practice in accordance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
- Promotes customer satisfaction through competent professional practice.
- Presents a professional approach and appearance.
Qualifications:
- ADN or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- An unencumbered Missouri RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required within 180 days of employment.
- 2 years of OR experience preferred, but not required.
