Housekeeper - Housekeeping
CCMH has an opening for a full-time Housekeeper. Duties and responsibilities for this position will include 1) practice universal precautions to prevent the spread of germs and cross contamination in patient rooms and patient care areas; 2) clean patient rooms, treatment areas and non-patient areas following established processes and protocols (including disinfection techniques); 3) perform terminal cleaning of the Surgical rooms by following a check list or as instructed by Surgical staff; 4) provide floor care on all hard and soft flooring in the facility as needed; 5) ensure an overall neat and sanitary condition in patient rooms, whether occupied or unoccupied; 6) demonstrate proper knowledge and use of chemicals and equipment in the performance of assigned job duties. Successful candidates will have the ability to leverage knowledge, skills, training and experience to support the success of the facility, be a self-starter and self-disciplined, able to prioritize and plan cleaning activities as well as special projects, develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships and commit to putting the patient and patient needs first and foremost. Qualified will have (minimally) a HS diploma or GED, a kind and respectful customer-service demeanor. CCMH boasts a highly competitive wage and benefit package.
