MLT or MT PRN
CCMH has PRN openings for MLT’s or MT’s
CCMH has a PRN opening for MLT’s or MT’s to support and administer lab services provided by CCMH for inpatients and outpatients, as well as those presenting to ED.
Job Responsibilities
-Obtaining patient specimens through phlebotomy and other collection procedures
-Preparing specimens for in-house testing or delivery to reference laboratory
- Performing extensive bench work at all levels in accordance with facility-established practices and protocols
-Delivering accurate results in a timely manner
-Performing clerical duties associated with lab responsibilities including entering data into EMR and other software platforms, scanning, faxing, filing, inventorying and ordering supplies and processing required medical documents as necessary.
Qualifications
-Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a sense of urgency and the ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize assignments.
-Must be self-motivated with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
-Interested candidates must have current MT or MLT licensure and be ASCP or AMT certified.
-Noteworthy is that we have 36-hour shifts (w/sleep room) available!
